Jensen Contracting is one of the first companies in the Pacific Northwest to use specialized products to restore and reinforce plaster walls. Many of our competitors use cheaper products and techniques that they can't guarantee. We offer a lifetime guarantee on all plaster wall repair and reinforcement projects (damage from earthquakes or water not included).

Seattle's older neighborhoods — Ballard, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, West Seattle — are full of pre-1950 homes with original plaster-and-lath walls. Drywall contractors unfamiliar with plaster often “band-aid” the repair — and it cracks again in a year. We key new plaster to old, bond new drywall patches properly, and restore ceilings that deserve to be restored rather than covered up.

A doorknob hole, a settled crack, water damage, teenagers, pets — your walls take abuse. Patch work done poorly shows up as a shadow line in raking light for the life of the wall. We patch so the repair disappears.

From a single hole to a whole-room re-skim, we match existing texture, feather the mud properly, and prime for paint-ready results. Most patches are done in a single visit.
